We’re excited to share some big news: Oregon Restoration has been named to the 2025 Inc. 5000 list, which ranks the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States.
Over the past few years, our team has worked hard to grow while staying true to the values we started with. Now, that progress is reflected in one of the nation’s most notable business rankings.
This year, we landed at #1,766 overall—a significant accomplishment for any business, but especially for a company in a capital- and labor-intensive field like construction.

- #105 out of 327 construction companies nationwide
- #17 out of 49 companies in Oregon overall

About the Inc. 5000
Each year, Inc. Magazine celebrates the recognizes the fastest-growing private companies across the United States based on three-year revenue growth. Earning a spot on this list signals not only rapid expansion, but also resilience, innovation, and the ability to adapt in a highly competitive business landscape, particularly in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the past three years alone, Oregon Restoration has:
- Achieved 247% revenue growth (51.4% CAGR)
- Increased headcount by 126% (from 39 to 88 full-time employees)
- Opened two new offices in Bend and Eugene
This year, only 327 businesses in the construction industry (which includes restoration) made the list, and Oregon Restoration ranked #105 among them. By our count, we are one of just 12 restoration companies nationwide to make the list, and the only construction company from Oregon to do so. From our beginnings as a small restoration firm with a mission to help those in need through certified care and expert service, we are proud of how far our team’s hard work and dedication have taken us.
From One Van to an Industry Leader
We didn’t get here overnight. In 2008, at the age of 26, founder Ryan Gilyeat was working in the restoration industry when he broke his leg. Instead of receiving support, he was told not to come back until he could carry a fan. During his recovery, Ryan decided to take a different path, one that valued people as much as profits. He studied how to start his own business and launched Oregon Restoration with a single, used Sears service van as both his headquarters and work truck.
From the very beginning, Ryan’s mission was clear: build the best company for its employees so they could deliver more than customers expected. That philosophy of putting team members and clients first has fueled steady growth. What began as a one-person operation is now an industry-leading restoration firm with a 21,000-square-foot facility in Portland, more than 80 vehicles, and a talented team that continues to expand across Oregon.
This commitment to culture and quality has earned numerous recognitions. In 2025, Oregon Business ranked Oregon Restoration #12 on its list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon, marking our seventh consecutive year on the list. In 2024, we received the U.S. Small Business Administration Portland District Director’s Award for Excellence, honoring our sustained growth, innovation, and dedication to employees and customers. And now, in 2025, Oregon Restoration has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America, one of just 12 restoration companies nationwide to earn a spot.
