Oregon Restoration was recently ranked the #1 water damage service provider in the Portland market, earning a score of 288 out of 300, including a perfect score for quality.
The ranking was published by BusinessRate, an independent platform that analyzes customer feedback and market trends to produce rankings across industries and geographic markets..
Their report evaluates water damage service providers using a scoring index that factors in several performance indicators, including long-term endurance, recent momentum, and customer review quality. In the March 2026 report for the Portland market, Oregon Restoration ranked #1 out of 32 businesses in the category.
Recognition like this is always appreciated, but it isn’t why we do what we do. From the beginning, Oregon Restoration has been built around a simple belief: if you take care of people, do honest work, and stand behind what you do, you can build a business that lasts. Seeing that reflected in how customers experience our work validates that approach and means the world to us.
What Recognition Like This Really Reflects
For companies in the restoration industry, rankings and reviews ultimately come down to something simple: the experience customers have when things go wrong.
Water damage rarely happens at a convenient time. It might be a burst pipe in the middle of the night, a leaking water heater discovered early in the morning, or a major storm that suddenly turns a small leak into a major problem. When water emergencies happen, people are often dealing with stress, uncertainty, and the immediate concern of protecting their home or business.
Our job is to step into those situations and help bring some order back to the chaos.
That means responding quickly, communicating clearly, and doing careful work to stabilize the property and prevent further damage. It means helping property owners understand what’s happening, what the next steps are, and how the restoration process will move forward. And it means showing up every day with a team that takes pride in doing the job right.
When customers take the time to leave reviews or share their experiences, those stories reflect the effort our technicians, project managers, coordinators, and reconstruction crews put into every project.
So while the ranking itself is nice to see, what it really represents is the work our team does every day.
A Team Effort
Restoration work isn’t glamorous. It often involves early mornings, late nights, and plenty of time spent in wet crawlspaces, damaged buildings, or properties that have just experienced a stressful event.
But it’s also incredibly meaningful work.
Helping someone recover after water damage means restoring more than just the structure of a property. It means helping people get back to normal as quickly as possible, whether that’s a family returning to their home or a business getting its doors open again.
Serving Portland, Bend, and Eugene
While this particular ranking looked specifically at water damage service providers in the Portland market, the same team culture and service approach extends across all of Oregon Restoration’s locations.
Today, Oregon Restoration operates offices in Portland, Bend, and Eugene, allowing us to respond quickly to property damage emergencies throughout much of Oregon and SW Washington. From these three locations, our direct service area covers roughly 90% of the population of Oregon and Southwest Washington, including the Portland metro area and Clark County, the Willamette Valley, Lane County down to Roseburg, and communities across Central Oregon.
Whether the job involves emergency water mitigation, mold cleanup, fire damage restoration, or reconstruction after a property loss, the approach remains the same. Take care of the customer, communicate clearly, and focus on doing quality work that stands the test of time.
Building the Company the Right Way
Awards and rankings should never the reason a company does its work. For us, the real focus has always been building a business that customers and employees alike can trust.
That means investing in training, hiring good people, and holding ourselves to high standards even when no one is watching. It means treating customers fairly and making sure the work we do today will still hold up years down the road.
Recognition like this simply tells us that customers are noticing the effort.
And that’s something we’re grateful for.
